Why don't I meet the minimum criteria for credit?

Paying for insurance monthly means you're entering into a consumer credit agreement to borrow the annual cost of insurance from us. We then pay your insurer in full and spread the amount over monthly instalments for you to pay.

To decide whether we can offer you credit for your initial purchase, renewal, or a change to your policy, we evaluate your credit profile using your policy data and information held by Equifax and Experian. This allows us to be a responsible lender, making sure we only offer a monthly payment option to those who can afford a loan and those we're legally able to lend to.

Sometimes you may not meet our credit criteria so you'll need to pay for your policy in full.
