What is personal possessions cover?

Personal possessions cover is optional cover you can add to your home insurance policy. It covers things like your phone, money or jewellery when you take them out of your home.

If you take out personal possessions cover, you need to tell us about any: 

• Laptops you'd like covered away from home. 
• Pedal cycles worth more than £350.
• Items worth more than £1,500.

If you don't let us know about these, they may not be covered.
