What's a credit agreement?
If you choose to pay by instalments, you'll be offered a loan and be asked to pay this back on a monthly basis. The terms and conditions of your loan are detailed in your Consumer Credit Agreement, as well as your rights in relation to it.
When you enter into the credit agreement you agree to make payments of set amounts on certain dates, and we agree to pay the insurer the cost of your insurance premium.
The agreement between us is regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and covers things like:
- The amount and frequency of your repayments
- Interest and charges
- Your right to withdraw
- Your right to settle early
- What happens if you miss payments
