How do I change my vehicle?
If you've bought a new car, or are thinking of replacing your current one, you can update your details or check how much it would cost to do so by calling us on 0333 321 9801.
Don't forget, when you update your vehicle details, your excess amount might change – so make sure to check you're happy with it. Also, you’ll need to tell us if any of your other details have changed, as failing to do so could affect whether you are covered for future claims.
Updating your car after a write-off
Once we’ve made payment for your vehicle, you’ll have 30 days to add a new vehicle to your policy. You can add your new car to your policy by calling us on 0333 321 9801.
If you don’t add a new vehicle to your policy within 30 days, your insurance will end. You won’t need to pay a cancellation fee and we'll be in touch to confirm you're no longer insured by us.
Your Multi Car Policy
If you have a Multi Car policy and don’t add a new vehicle to your policy within 30 days, we'll only cancel the cover for the vehicle that’s been written off.
Your Multi Car policy will remain in place and any other cars covered by the policy will still be insured.
