Why has my car been written off?

The decision to write-off the vehicle is made because either:

•    The repairs are likely to cost close to, or more than, the market value of the vehicle. 
•    The repairs aren't possible because of the type or extent of the damage.
•    Your vehicle has been stolen and not found.
