How do I reset my password?
You can change your password at any time in the app or MyAccount, or reset it if you've forgotten it. It's also important to change your password if you think your account may have been used fraudulently.
From the log in page:
- Select forgotten your password? in the app or Forgot your password? if you're using MyAccount.
- Enter the email address you used to buy your policy.
- You'll be sent an email to reset your password. Click the link in the email and follow the instructions. You'll be sent another email confirming your password has been changed.
You can also reset your password on your MyAccount settings page.
Remember - never give your details in response to an email requesting your password, unless you've asked to reset it yourself.

The easiest way to access your car policy is through the Hastings Direct app, and you can make this even easier by setting up a secure four digit PIN or, depending on your device, either Touch ID/Face ID or fingerprint authentication.
If you have a van policy and still need to download the app, you'll need your MyAccount password the first time you log in.
