How do I cancel my policy before it starts?

We're sorry you're thinking of cancelling your insurance and we’re always here to help if you need us in the future. If you cancel your policy before it starts, you won't be charged a cancellation fee.
Please remember that if you need proof of your claim-free years, this will still be with your previous insurer as your policy with us hasn't started yet.

Depending on why you want to cancel, there may be some other options for you.

• If you need to change your details - you might not need to cancel your policy. You could try updating your current policy details instead by calling us on 0333 321 9801.
• If you've received a renewal quote but want to cancel your renewal - if you don't want to go ahead with your renewal, just let us know before your renewal date by calling us on 0333 321 9681. We'd love you to stay with us so, if you do get a better quote, call us with the details and we'll see what your options are.
