What is an accessible window?

Accessible means windows that are at ground floor or basement level. It also includes any windows within easy reach of the ground (that can be reached by an intruder). For example:

• First-floor windows that can be reached from another part of the property, such as a flat-roofed single storey extension or garage.
• Skylights that are accessible from the ground.
