What is a Standard Consumer Credit Information (SCCI) document?
If you choose to pay by instalments, you'll be offered a loan and be asked to pay this back on a monthly basis. Before you agree to this loan, you'll be provided with a Standard Consumer Credit Information (SCCI) document which sets out important information about the loan.
This document is to help you compare your loan with ones offered by other lenders. It will also allow you to consider the terms we've offered and whether you'd like to ask us any questions.
It covers things like:
- The amount and frequency of your repayments
- Interest and charges
- Your right to withdraw
- Your right to settle early
- What happens if you miss payments
