How can I contact you about my renewal?

There are lots of ways to get in touch.


To discuss your renewal quote  
If you want to talk to us about your quote or you've found a better price with another insurer, please call us on 0333 321 9790 (our opening hours are here). We’ll review your cover and then check all your options. Before you get in touch, please make a note of the excess and any benefits on your other quote so we make sure we’re comparing a like-for-like policy for you. 
 
Making a change to your car policy  
You can update your policy in our app or MyAccount up to three days before your renewal date. If you want to make a change within three days of your renewal date, it’s best to call us on 0333 219 790. Just so you know, any change you make will be applied to your renewal quote and means the price may change too.  
 
To make a change: 

  • Log in, then select the change you want to make and add your new information. 
  • You'll be given a quote, which includes any change to your total price and any fees you need to pay. 
  • Select ‘Continue’ if you want to go ahead. If the change you want to make means your total price will go down, you'll be due a refund. Or if your price has gone up, you can then choose how to pay.  

If you don’t want to carry on, simply select ‘Cancel changes’ (please remember, you do need to tell us if your details have changed, as you may not be covered if you have to make a claim). 
 
How to find your renewal quote  
Your renewal quote will be available in our app or MyAccount about three weeks before your renewal date. All you need to do is log in, go to ‘My Documents’ and you can then check the details are correct and you're happy with your renewal price. If you want to go ahead, simply go to the ‘Renewals’ section to accept your quote and arrange payment (if required). 
 
Based on the same details, the price of your renewal quote from us will be the same or less than a quote we offer to a new customer. If you find a new quote from us that has the same details, but is a cheaper price, please call us on 0333 321 9790 and we'll see what your options are (our opening hours are here).  
 
Paying for your car insurance renewal  
Unless you've opted out, your policy will renew automatically on your renewal date. So, if you pay annually (and we have a card on file for you that you've given us permission to use), or you pay by Direct Debit, there's no need to do anything.  
You can also pay for your renewal online in our app or MyAccount. Just log in, select ‘Renewals’ and then follow the instructions on how to make a payment. If you get stuck, please call us on 0333 321 9790 (our opening hours are here).  
Your policy will still renew without payment (so you’re not left uninsured), but you'll need to arrange payment as soon as possible to avoid any charges. 


If you're worried about paying for your renewal  
Please call us on 0333 321 9790 as soon as possible (our opening hours are here). We can talk you through your payment options and may be able to find a payment plan that's more affordable for you. Please don't cancel any payments or Direct Debits without speaking to us first. Missing payments means you run the risk of your policy being cancelled and we don't want you to be left without insurance.  


If you don't want to renew with us  
All you need to do is call us on 0333 321 9790 (our opening hours are here). Your policy will then end at 11:59pm on the day before your renewal date. From this point, you'll no longer be insured by us, so please make sure you have alternative insurance elsewhere.
