Why is Hastings Direct cancelling my policy after the policy checks?

If you didn't send us the documents we need by the time we've asked, it may mean we have to cancel your policy. Please check your email and see what else you need to send us.

If you've sent everything we asked for
We've reviewed all the information you’ve sent us and found that:

  • It doesn’t match the information you gave us when you first bought your policy.
  • We can’t insure you based on these new details.
  • Unfortunately, for these reasons, we need to cancel your policy.

Just so you know, we might have to charge you a fee if we need to cancel your policy. This is in line with our terms and conditions.
