My vehicle is a write-off can I keep it?

If we’ve told you your vehicle is a write-off and you would like to keep it, then once you’ve accepted your valuation and received your payment, please call us. We’ll discuss your options and arrange the necessary instruction to Copart. If you’d like to speak to Copart, please call them on 01234 762224.

If they believe it's safe for you to do so, they can arrange a price to buy the vehicle back from them after we've agreed a settlement value with you. They’ll also talk you through any steps they need you to take.

Remember, if you buy the vehicle back, it will have a write-off marker against its vehicle history which may impact the vehicle’s value. This is important to note in case you sell the vehicle in the future.
