What should I do if I suspect fraud?
If you think someone is trying to defraud or scam you, please call us on 0333 321 9757.
If you have received a notification that someone unauthorised has accessed, or has tried to access your account, here’s what to do:
- If you can no longer access your account and can’t change your password, call us immediately on 0333 321 9757.
- If you can access your account, please change your password straight away and check all your details are still correct. Then call us on 0333 321 9757 to report this.
- If you think your password is no longer secure and you use it for other accounts, make sure you change the password for those accounts too.

Action Fraud will pass your report on to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau, who will investigate it further. The Action Fraud website also offers useful information to support victims of fraud, as well as tips to help keep you safe from fraud.
