How do I cancel my policy?
We're sorry you're thinking of cancelling your van insurance and we’re always here to help if you need us in the future. Before you go, we just want to make you aware of a few options:
If you want to cancel or you've found a better quote elsewhere
You can cancel your policy online. Simply go to the home screen of our app and choose ‘Message Us’ to start your conversation.
If you don't have the app, you can find other ways to contact us here. If it’s about another quote, just make a note of the excess and any benefits on your new quote so we can find you a like-for-like policy.
It’s important to remember that if you cancel:
- You’ll lose this year’s no claims discount.
- If you pay monthly, you may have to pay an outstanding balance.
- There may also be a cancellation fee.
- You will need to pay for any time you've been insured by us and for any non-refundable fees you paid when you bought your policy. We'll then send you a letter confirming your cancellation.
If you just want to change your details
If you're moving home, bought a new van or need to make other changes – you might not need to cancel your policy (and potentially pay a cancellation fee). Instead, please get in touch with us here and we can update your current policy details.
If you're worried about paying for your insurance
Please get in touch with our specially trained team. They’ll do everything they can to help and will discuss all your options with you. You’ll find their contact details here.
If you don't want to go ahead with your renewal
Just let us know before your renewal date by getting in touch with us. We'd love you to stay with us so if you do get a better quote, call us with the details and we'll try our best to match it.
Already cancelled? How to find proof of your no claims discount
You can get this in the documents section of our app or MyAccount by choosing ‘Get NCD’. Alternatively, you’ll also find it in your cancellation letter.
