How do I set up the YouDrive tab?

Your tab is sent to you in the post, along with the instructions on how to set it up. When it arrives, please follow these steps:

1. Download the Hastings Direct app to your phone. Make sure to enter the email address you used when you bought the policy because if we can’t match your email to our records, you won’t be able to log in.
2. When you’re in your vehicle, follow the on screen instructions provided to set your permissions.
3. Stick your tab to your windscreen or dashboard using the adhesive strips, making sure it doesn’t obstruct your view.

You'll know your tab is working when you start to get a score after your first trip (this can sometimes take up to 24 hours to update).

You don’t have to wait for your tab to arrive to start driving, you can do this as soon your policy starts. But once you’re all set up, you’ll be able to see your driving score.
