Do I need to print my insurance certificate?

No. All insured vehicles now appear on the Motor Insurance Database, which is used by the police and the DVLA. 

If you're stopped by the police and asked to produce your certificate of insurance, most police forces will accept an electronic copy. However, if they still want to see a paper copy, you have seven days to produce it.

Regardless of how you choose to receive your documents, you'll have an electronic version of your certificate available in the app or MyAccount for the duration of your policy. Once you've logged in, click the 'Documents' tab and you'll find your certificate in your 'Welcome pack'.
