How do I make changes to my Hastings App policy?

Most changes can be done online at any time in our app.

Here's what you can do:

  • Add, remove or edit driver details.
  • Update your address.
  • Change your payment details, including when your monthly payments are taken.
  • Change the details of your vehicle and mileage.

 

How to make a change in our app

  1. Log in, then select the change you want to make and add your new information.
  2. You'll be given a quote, which includes any change to your total price and any fees you need to pay.
  3. Select ‘Continue’ if you want to go ahead. If the change you want to make means your total price will go down, you'll be due a refund. Or if your price has gone up, you can then choose how to pay. 
  4. If you don’t want to carry on, simply select ‘Cancel changes’ (please remember, you do need to tell us if your details have changed, as you may not be covered if you have to make a claim).

 

There are some changes that you'll need to contact us about. 

This is so we can make sure you're not charged a fee. These are:

  • If you're adding a modification that's related to a disability.
  • If you're changing your occupation or use of vehicle because of unemployment.
  • You're cancelling a policy because you're in the armed forces and have been posted abroad.
  • You're adding a modification which doesn't change the total price, but you're charged a fee.
