How can I cancel my renewal?

The renewal price isn’t what I expected
Your renewal price is based on your details. So, if anything has changed (such as your annual mileage, driver details etc), updating your details will mean you get a more accurate price. That’s why it’s worth checking all your details are up to date in your Hastings Direct account.
The policy isn't right for me
If you’re unhappy with either your level of cover, the policy benefits or the type of policy, we can always change you to a different policy that suits you better.

I’ve already bought insurance elsewhere
Unless you’ve opted out of automatically renewing, we'll need to speak to you to cancel your policy with us, so please call 0333 321 9790 (our opening hours are here). Don’t worry if you’ve just bought another policy – like us, lots of insurers have a cooling-off period with their policies. If this applies to your other policy, let us know as we’ll often be able to find you a better option.
