What is the status of my policy checks?

We need you to send us a few bits of information to help us confirm some details. We know this is inconvenient, so we’ll try to make it as easy and quick as possible.

  • If you don’t send all the information we need, we'll have to make changes or cancel your policy. So it's important you get in touch.
  • If you need to submit or declare information, you can do this through our app or MyAccount.
  • If you can't send us everything we need, please tell us by emailing policyinfo@hastingsdirect.com or calling 0333 321 9757.
  • If you've already sent some of this information, we may have replied to you. Please check your inbox for our latest email or letter about policy checks.

The status can be:

  • Open: Our policy checks have started, but you haven't sent us the information we need yet.
  • In progress: We've received some (or all) of the information we asked for. We'll review it and then get in touch.
  • Closed: Our policy checks are finished and we don't need anything else from you.

You can find all the letters and documents we've sent you in the 'Documents' section of our app or MyAccount.
